How to find the ETHIANUM in Heidelberg
We have compiled some useful information for your journey here: The ETHIANUM Clinic is easy to reach thanks to its central location. Instead of driving directly to the main entrance at Voßstraße 6, we recommend driving to the address of the underground car park. Arrive safely!

By Car
YOUR JOURNEY BY CAR
Do you use a navigation system? This entry will take you directly to the clinic’s underground car park:
FEHRENTZSTRASSE 2, 69115 Heidelberg
Drive along Vangerowstraße to its end and turn left into Fehrentzstraße following the signposts. The entrance to the underground car park is on the right-hand side of the road. Please note the car park charges.
Directions to the underground car park without a navigation device:
- At the Heidelberger Kreuz motorway junction, head towards Heidelberg
- On entering the town, follow the B37 in the direction of Eberbach/Neckargemünd
- Follow the signs to the university hospitals
- At the bridge entrance in the direction of the university hospitals you will already see the sign for the ETHIANUM. Then take an immediate sharp left into Vangerowstraße
- At the end of Vangerowstraße, follow the signs for the underground car park and turn left into Fehrentzstraße
- The entrance to the underground car park is on the right-hand side of the road

CAR PARK INFORMATION
The underground car park is open from 5:30 to 21:00. Clients can enter and exit the car park at any time with their client card.
As the operator of a public car park, the ETHIANUM must charge a fee for the use of the underground car park:
- The parking fee is €2.50 from the 1st to the 2th hour, and €1.50 for each additional hour.
- The night tariff applies from 9.00 pm to 5.30 am and amounts to € 7.50.
- The maximum parking fee is €30.00 per day.
- The grace period for short-term parkers is 15 minutes.
- The waiting time from payment to exit is also 15 minutes.
- A fee of €30.00 is charged for the loss of a ticket.
- Inpatients pay a flat rate of €10.00 for each day of their stay.
- The parking fees listed apply to visitors to the outpatient practices.
BUS AND TRAIN
YOUR JOURNEY BY BUS AND TRAIN
The following public transport stops are close to the clinic:
- Bus RNV32A: Stop Römerstraße, from there approx. 3 minutes on foot.
- Bus RNV33 or 34: Departure from Heidelberg Central Station West, platform A. Get off at ‘Altes Hallenbad’, after approx. 8 minutes on foot you will reach your destination.
- Train RNV5: Departure from Heidelberg main station West, platform A. Get off at the Römerstraße stop. From here it is approx. 10 minutes on foot to the clinic.
All lines mentioned also run via Heidelberg main station. Detailed information on routes, journey times and walking distances can be found here:
AIRCRAFT
YOUR JOURNEY BY PLANE
The nearest international airport is Frankfurt Airport (FRA). From there you can continue your journey by train (you can change trains directly at the airport), taxi or hire car.
