LATEST CARDIO-ULTRASOUND SYSTEM AT THE ETHIANUM
With the latest cardiovascular ultrasound system from Siemens, doctors at the ETHIANUM are using the best technology currently available on the market. The Siemens Healthineers Acuson Origin offers outstanding image quality with highly efficient image acquisition, i.e. the recording of an image stream. With real-time analysis, three-dimensional images can be recorded and immediately evaluated.
Artificial intelligence based on a database of billions of images helps your doctor to use over 5600 measurement algorithms for diagnosis. Your doctor can use both conventional (two- and) three-dimensional ultrasound probes for transthoracic images (i.e. from the outside) and state-of-the-art three-dimensional transoesophageal probes for optimal ultrasound examinations by way of your food pipe. The latter offers, for example, the best viewing conditions for detailed and differentiated heart valve diagnostics or to rule out intracardiac blood clots before cardioversion in atrial fibrillation.
