Specialist in dermatology and venereology – expert in aesthetic skin treatments

Since the beginning of 2024, the clinic team has welcomed Amira Ballout as a new specialist in dermatology and venereology at the ETHIANUM Clinic Heidelberg. The new specialist impresses with her extensive specialist knowledge of aesthetic medicine. Amira Ballout also scores highly with her expertise in conservative and surgical dermatology.

Mrs Ballout completed her medical studies at the Julius Maximilian University of Würzburg. She discovered her passion for dermatology during her studies. She was particularly attracted by the diversity in the speciality and the varied activities with regard to the health and aesthetics of her clients.

Ballout qualified as a doctor in 2014 and completed her specialist training in dermatology and venereology in 2021.

After completing her studies, Amira Ballout worked at the University Hospital in Mannheim and Mainz. She spent her time there as an assistant doctor in dermatology. In addition to classic dermatological diseases, her residency also allowed her to gain her first experience in cutting-edge medicine. Finally, she gained her expertise under the direction of Prof. Staubach-Renz at the Clinical Research Centre of the Mainz University Medical Centre. As a study doctor for phase III-IV studies, she treated patients with psoriasis, hives, circular hair loss, neurodermatitis and vitiligo. State-of-the-art medication and innovative therapies inspired Ballout and showed her how valuable healthy skin is for health and quality of life.

During these three years, Amira Ballout gained further knowledge in the accompanying use of aesthetic treatments. Finally, Ballout completed her time as a junior doctor with the specialist examination in dermatology in 2021 and became a junior doctor at the Institute of Microbiology and Hygiene at the Mainz University Medical Centre.

In October 2022, Amira Ballout began working as a specialist in dermatology and venereology at a large chain of aesthetic medicine clinics in Wiesbaden. She deepened her skills and knowledge of treatments in the field of aesthetic medicine.

Working with renowned colleagues and actively shaping the possibilities of dermatology for the health of her clients is what appeals to Amira Ballout about her new job at the ETHIANUM Clinic. In addition to classic dermatology, her focus here is on aesthetic medicine.

The specialist would like to utilise and apply the modern equipment and the best treatment options with regard to the skin health of her clients.

Ballout is driven by the desire to listen to her clients, to take time for them and to find the best possible solution for their health. Because she knows that healthy skin has a decisive influence on people’s psyche and seeing them radiant and healthy is Amira Ballout’s goal.
