The ETHIANUM medical competence centre in Heidelberg is a modern private clinic with 33 beds, small units and university-level services. Our clients can expect the highest level of attention and an unusually broad spectrum of interdisciplinary cutting-edge medicine.

We offer referring doctors direct contact, and we clarify technical questions with you efficiently by telephone or e-mail. You can arrange appointments for your patients quickly and unbureaucratically.

In the field of plastic surgery, as a certified breast reconstruction centre, we are your point of contact for all breast surgery procedures. Other specialities: surgery of the lymphatic system, treatment of bone necrosis, secondary reconstruction after burns, scar correction and intimate surgery for women.

Spinal surgery is represented by both orthopaedic and neurosurgical expertise at the highest level. In addition to specialist expertise, state-of-the-art technical aids such as spinal navigation and neuromonitoring are available. From minimally invasive procedures to deformity treatment, all established procedures are routinely used. We are also available to advise patients with health insurance on special surgical issues.

In the field of gynaecology, all minimally invasive procedures are performed (TLH, LASH, myoma enucleation, operative hysteroscopy, etc.). See also our gynaecology information). Minimally invasive treatment is also possible for malignant diseases of the uterus (cervical carcinoma, endometrial carcinoma).

Our specialists work together on an interdisciplinary basis on individual issues, e.g. in the treatment of lipoedema, in the field of endoprosthetics and major reconstructive spinal surgery with soft tissue defects.
