Dr. med. Angelika Witzel-Heimlich

Dr. med. Angelika Witzel-Heimlich is a specialist in ear, nose and throat medicine and allergology. She also holds the additional qualification in homeopathy. After receiving her license to practice medicine, she completed her doctorate at the Free University of Berlin in 1993.

Her medical career initially led her to the Department of Anaesthesiology at Klinikum Steglitz, Free University of Berlin, and to the Department of Internal Medicine at Krankenhaus Spandau in Berlin. After a position in strategic marketing at Schering AG and obtaining the ECFMG certificate in the USA, she completed her specialist training at the Department of Ear, Nose and Throat Medicine at Heidelberg University Hospital

Since 2007, Dr. Witzel-Heimlich has been working in joint practice with Dr. Florian Heimlich. In addition to her specialist medical qualifications, she holds certifications in audiology and otoneurology, as well as the qualification in digital volume tomography. Together with Dr. Florian Heimlich, she heads the sleep laboratory at ETHIANUM Klinik Heidelberg, which specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of sleep disorders, snoring and sleep-related breathing disorders.

In her work, Dr. Witzel-Heimlich combines sound ENT and allergological diagnostics with a holistic view of her patients. She places particular emphasis on careful examination, clear consultation and individually tailored treatment concepts.
