Dr. med. Birgit Abenhardt has more than 30 years of experience in the diagnosis and treatment of respiratory and pulmonary diseases as well as allergies. After
many years of running her own specialist pulmonology practice in Heidelberg, she treated patients with different pulmonary diseases. Now she brings her extensive clinical expertise to preventive medicine at ETHIANUM.

For Dr. Abenhardt, the individual patients and their personal needs, wishes , and circumstances are always at the heart of treatment. Her particular focus is on the early detection and individualized assessment of respiratory and allergic diseases. Through targeted preventive care, changes can be identified at an early stage and appropriate measures initiated. Her goal is to preserve lung health in the long term, provide targeted treatment for allergies, and sustainably improve her patients’ quality of life.
