DIeffenbach-Medaille für Prof. Dr. med. Günter Germann

Die Dieffenbach-Medaille ist die höchste Auszeichnung für Plastische Chirurgen im deutschsprachigen Raum. Erstmalig hat somit ein deutscher Plastischer Chirurg beide Auszeichungen für sein Lebenswerk erhalten.

[October 2024] After receiving the Buncke Award from the American Society for Reconstructive Microsurgery in January, Prof. Dr. Günter Germann, founder and medical director of the ETHIANUM KLINIK HEIDELBERG, was awarded the Dieffenbach Medal at the annual congress of the German Society of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeons (DGPRÄC) in Düsseldorf.

The Dieffenbach Medal is the highest distinction for plastic surgeons in German-speaking countries. This is the first time that a German plastic surgeon has received both awards for his life’s work.
