PROF. GERMANN RECEIVES SIGNIFICANT HONOR FOR HIS LIFE’S WORK

The founder and Medical Director of the ETHIANUM Clinic Heidelberg, Prof. Dr. med. Günter Germann, has received another significant honor for his life’s work. The world’s largest professional association of microsurgeons, the American Society for Reconstructive Microsurgery (ASRM), has awarded him the Buncke Lectureship 2024, named after the founding father of American microsurgery, Prof. Harry Buncke. This award is regarded as a kind of “Nobel Prize” in reconstructive microsurgery.
Prof. Germann received the award at the ASRM annual meeting in Nassau (Bahamas) in January 2024, where he also gave the keynote speech. We are delighted and congratulate him warmly!
